Welcome to Rustic Carvings! If you like the imperfection of the world around you, aren’t troubled by the flaws and knots in wood because you see them as giving a piece character and definition, and are interested in unique, personalized, gifts, then you’ve come to the right place.
I make everything that you see, if you scroll below, in the “Etsy mini” shop. Go on, scroll down. I’ll wait.
Pretty cool stuff, huh? I guess I can say that because I made it. You have to have faith in your own product, you know? All of my designs are made out of reclaimed wood, save the wedding items. What is reclaimed wood, you say? It’s taking wood that has previously been used, or were scraps from another project, and “recycling” them into something desirable. I call it artwork.
To purchase anything you see here, or to see what else is available, click on any of those boxes, and like….whooosh, you’ll be transported over to the Etsy shop and you can view my full listing. It’s like internet magic.
Before you leave me, though, let me tell you that I do custom work, too. So, if you have an idea churning in your brain, or you want something done, and you aren’t quite sure what it should be, but have a vague idea, let me tell you, I’m not shy. We’ll brainstorm and come up with something. Custom work is my favorite thing to do. (Hint, hint: For some examples, click on “custom items” above.)
Pardon me for a “blah blah blah” moment… I accept checks and payments through PayPal, to make life more convenient. For non-custom designs, I ship the next business day after payment is received. For custom designs, I try to keep it in a two week turnaround time. My shipping boxes aren’t pretty, I’ll be honest. Sometimes they are parts of other boxes, to re-use the cardboard. But, whether bought or repurposed, it’s 100% recycled material. I’m ever mindful of my carbon footprint.
Oh, and I’m a bit of a writer, too. So, check out my blog. That’s on the “blog” tab, above. I know, that page name was super-creative. Know that my blog is rarely, if ever, business related. But, it is always free of charge.
Okay, now you’re dismissed. Feel free to move about the webpage. And, thanks for stopping by. :)
